Summer Art Camp FAQ

Summer Art Camp FAQ

What are art camps? Camps meet M-Th weekly throughout the summer. They are an experience where we explode creativity, encourage community, & elevate fun. We do this through process art based projects centered around a weekly theme, large and small group camp games,  & open ended sensory/ messy play.

What ages? Camps are for kids who WILL BE in grades 1-6 in the 2024-25 school year.
Junior camps are for kids who are 5 or 6 years old.
No exceptions made.

What makes Brightly different than any other camp? There are lots of things that make us the best. Our ratio of campers to instructors is low, allowing our instructors to get to know each artist well. Our instructors are all adults who are experienced educators, many who are licensed teachers. We are a process art studio which means we are teaching artists how to fall in love with the process of creating rather than focusing on the final product. Focusing on the final product can lead to a hyper focus on perfection & as adults we know that this doesn't lead to full, abundant, or joyful life. Our projects are open ended and artist led. Kids love that--which is great because we do too.

What is the investment? Camp prices vary from $130-$235 for a 4 day camp. You can pay in full or utilize our payment plan. We offer 10% discount for siblings. You can get an additional 10% off by being a part of our insider membership program.

I have a preschooler and elementary kiddo can they come at the same time? Yes! We have two weeks this summer where we are offering junior art camp annnnnd art camp at the same time!

What about kids younger than 5? We do not offer any drop off preschool camps at this time. However, you can join us all summer long for preschool playgroups on Fridays or Saturdays at 10:00 am.
***If your child is not five before their week of camp they will be removed from the roster and your tuition refunded minus the $50 non refundable registration fee. That would totally suck, so please don't do it. We get asked to make exceptions all the time. The answer is nope. :)
